50th anniversary- Schelling

Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Joyce) Schelling of rural Pioneer will observe their Golden Anniversary with an open house on Saturday, Feb. 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Montpelier Moose Lodge. Charlie and Joyce were united in marriage on Valentine’s Day, Friday, Feb. 14, 1969, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Montpelier, by Dr. F.M. Wentz. Charles, a graduate of Montpelier High School, retired as a maintenance electrician in 2006 after nearly 40 years employment at Ingersoll-Rand Aro Corp./New Era in Bryan. Joyce, a graduate of Napoleon High School, retired in 2007 from Dielman Inc./Shelley Concrete in Archbold after over 25 years as a computer programmer and consultant in northwest Ohio. Both are active life members of the Montpelier Moose fraternal organization, having served at the local, district, state and international levels over the last 50 years. They are also active in their church family at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Joyce is a past president of CHWC-Montpelier Hospital Auxiliary and serves on the executive board program committee. Charlie and Joyce invite family and friends to join them at their open house celebration. Cards are welcome, but please omit gifts. Your presence is most appreciated.
