EDGERTON — Archbold bolted out to a 30-12 halftime lead over Edgerton en route to picking up a 41-28 victory in a nonconference boys basketball game Tuesday at Edgerton High School.

Ashton Kammeyer knocked down 8-of-10 free throws and scored a game-high 12 points to lead Archbold (8-3). Noah Gomez and Alex Roth both added eight points.

Troy Wolfe scored seven of his team-high 10 points in the second half for Edgerton (2-4). Corey Everetts hit two 3-pointers for six points, while Noah Landel also had six points.

Blackbirds blast Bombers

PETTISVILLE — Pettisville’s Joey Ripke and Max Leppelmeier both tallied 15 points on Tuesday as the Blackbirds flew past Edon 49-29 for a Buckeye Border Conference boys basketball win.

Ripke added seven rebounds, while Leppelmeier dished off four assists and collected three steals.

Cayden Jacoby added eight points for Pettisville (7-1, 5-0 BBC), which took a 22-7 halftime lead.

Drew Gallehue led Edon (2-3, 2-2 BBC) with 13 points.

Jack Berry also reached double figures with 10 points, while Destin McCartney’s six points completed the Bombers’ scoring.
