STRYKER — Stryker’s Kaleb Holsopple dropped a game-high 27 points — including 15 first-half points from 3-point range — to help secure the Panthers’ 53-41 Buckeye Border Conference boys basketball win over North Central on Thursday at Stryker High School.

Following Holsopple was Levi Barnum, who added nine points for the Panthers (9-11, 7-4 BBC). Spencer Clingaman also contributed five points.

Zack Hayes scored a team-high 19 points for the Eagles (5-15, 4-6). Landon Justice chipped in eight points, while Quin Burt added six.

Hilltop loses

WEST UNITY — Antwerp’s Jagger Landers bucketed a game-high 26 points to help the No. 2-ranked Archers to a 70-26 nonconference win over Hilltop on Thursday at Hilltop High School.

Brennon Carter had a team-high eight points for the Cadets (1-20). Ian Hoffman added seven points.

Landon Brewer followed Landers with 11 points for the Archers (19-1), who finished second in the final Division IV Ohio Associated Press poll. Hunter Sproles also contributed eight points, while Owen Sheedy chipped in seven.
