NAPOLEON — Bryan boys and girls bowling both took care of Wauseon in each of its respective Northwest Ohio Athletic League matches on Monday at River City Bowl-A-Way, with the boys winning 2,429-2,110 and the girls 2,257-2,178.

Zane Laurin fronted the boys (3-3 NWOAL) with a match-high 425 (247, 178) series. Dominic Boothman’s 389 (178, 211), Matt Meade’s 371 (200, 171), Issac Stoy’s 328 (155, 173) and Caleb Muhe’s first-game 159 and Iestyn Siders’ second-game 150 completed the Golden Bears’ 1,822 match-play score.

Bryan took the first two Bakers 234-182 and 182-171, but fell to the Indians 218-191 in the third.

Aidan Teal bowled a team-high 352 (169, 186) series for Wauseon (2-3). Ben Allan’s 337 (127, 220), Kage Little’s 330 (172, 158), Ryan Marks’ 293 (143, 150) and Parker Black’s 227 (129, 98) rounded out the Indians’ 1,539 match-play score.

Faith Harding tallied a match-high 410 (216, 164) series for the girls (6-1). Juleah Purk followed with a 380 (168, 212) while Gabi Bany added a 367 (181, 186). Jessica Federspiel’s 341 (168, 173) and Alexis Firm’s 312 (164, 148) completed the Golden Bears’ 1,810 match-play score.

Wauseon beat Bryan in all three Bakers (155-153, 182-155, 183-139).

Jayde Ramos bowled a team-high 371 (211, 160) for the Indians (3-3). Danielle Carr’s 368 (162, 206), Quinlynn Rohda’s 349 (148, 209), Rachel Carr’s 338 (176, 162), Alyssa Stricken’s first-game 134 helped make up Wauseon’s 1,658 match-play score.

Bryan will return to face NWOAL foe Liberty Center (6-3, 5-3 NWOAL) at 4 p.m. Monday at Bryan Lanes.
