The Golden Bears’ boys (6-5, 5-4 NWOAL) won 2,319-2,124, while Bryan’s girls (5-5, 3-4) earned a 2,002-1,735 victory.

Bryan’s bowling teams earned solids wins over Patrick Henry in Northwest Ohio Athletic League action on Friday at Bryan Lanes.
The Golden Bears’ boys (6-5, 5-4 NWOAL) won 2,319-2,124, while Bryan’s girls (5-5, 3-4) earned a 2,002-1,735 victory.
Dakota Brandeberry rolled a match-high 448 (236, 212) series for the Golden Bears’ boys. Caleb Muhe had a 407 (216, 191), Xander Douglas scored a 340 (176, 164), Issac Stoy finished with a 337 (179, 158) and Aaryan Singh rounded out Bryan’s 1,852 match-play score with a 320 (180, 140).
The Golden Bears totaled a 467 (118, 155, 194) in Bakers and the Patriots had a 450 (124, 185, 141).
Isaiah Geahlen bowled a team-high 381 (175, 206) to front Patrick Henry, which had a 1,674 in match play.
Haylie Federspiel rolled a match-high 343 (176, 167) for Bryan’s girls. Jessi Federspiel’s 342 (148, 194), Kyah Davis’ 337 (197, 140), Ashley Grymonprez’s 325 (155, 170), Madison Campbell’s second-game 101 and Polly Sleesman’s first-game 95 completed the Golden Bears’ 1,543 match-play result.
Bryan totaled a 459 (159, 156, 144) in Bakers, while the Patriots collected a 407 (146, 143, 118).
Rachel Breece bowled a team-high 331 (177, 154) to lead Patrick Henry, which tallied a 1,328 in match play.
The Golden Bears will next take the lanes against nonleague foe Tinora at 4 p.m. Monday at Defiance Recreation Bowling Alley.
