MAUMEE — Bryan’s girls soccer team continued its remarkable season with a dominating win Thursday as the Golden Bears blanked Maumee 8-0 in a nonleague match at Maumee High School.

Bryan tallied a season-high scoring output and posted its fourth shutout to improve to 14-0-1 overall.

Delilah Taylor tallied two goals and two assists, while Tabithah Taylor and Macy Burton also scored two goals apiece for the Golden Bears. Allie Zimmerman added a goal and two assists.

Kailee Thiel had a goal and Ella Rau an assist for Bryan. The Golden Bears scored four goals in each half.

Calysta Wasson made five saves to get the shutout in goal for Bryan.

Maumee dropped to 2-9-3.

Bryan will return to action at 11 a.m. Saturday when it hosts Defiance.
