The Bryan boys soccer team was the Division 2 champions in the 795 Tournament last weekend in Genoa. The tournament took place from Friday to Sunday.

Bryan played Bath in the finals on Sunday and won 2-0, though the game was called at halftime due to an injury to a Bath player that required EMS attention. Bryan coach Luke Collins received word that the player will make a full recovery.

The Golden Bears won in the semi finals against Toledo Start in a dominating 6-0 win. In the quarterfinals, though, the Golden Bears were in a much closer contest and pulled out a win in penalties, as goalkeeper Isaac Lamore saved three-of-four attempts.
