EDGERTON — Edgerton boys and girls cross country teams won their respective meets against Wayne Trace, Edon and North Central on Thursday at Edgerton High School.
Edgerton’s boys had 18 points, while Wayne Trace (49) placed second and Edon (61) third. North Central did not field a complete team.
The Bulldogs had five top-10 finishes with Hunter Burke (18:37) in first, Kale Merillat (18:57) in second, Cole Meyer (19:32) in third, Hayden Herman (19:33) in fourth and Mason Goebel (20:56) in eighth.
The Bombers had Garrett Dowdy (20:19) in sixth, Hunter Howard (20:27) in seventh and Trenton Arnold (23:39) in 15th.
For the girls, the Bulldogs edged out Wayne Trace 26-29. Edon and North Central both did not have enough runners to qualify as full teams.
Edgerton had four top-10 finishes with Stefanie Thiel (20:42) in first, Ashlee Hug (21:01) in second, Natalie Kellogg (23:12) in sixth and Holly Stark (24:53) in 10th. Cailyn Brobst (25:30) was 12th to round out the Bulldogs’ score.
North Central had Alexa Dominguez (21:51) in fourth and Darbi Stewart (24:27) in seventh.
