METAMORA — Edgerton’s girls basketball team only trailed by one point to Evergreen through one frame, but the Vikings took a 24-16 halftime lead en route to a 49-41 nonleague victory on Saturday at Evergreen High School.

Taylor Smith rattled in three 3-pointers in her game-high 13-point outing for the Bulldogs (3-11). Alivia Farnham contributed 10 points, while Casey Everetts had nine.
