Fairview’s softball team didn’t get the ending to its season that it wanted, but rallied from Wednesday’s regional semifinal loss to get a 12-2 win to end the season.

The Apaches (22-2, 7-0 Green Meadows Conference) finished the season as conference champions with an unbeaten record in the GMC.

It started early for Fairview, which scored three, two and four runs in the first three innings. It added three in the fifth inning to complete the 10-run rule win.

Kendyl Kime, in her final game as an Apache, went 3-for-3 with six RBIs to lead all hitters. Kinsey Dietrich added two hits and an RBI and Kamryn Boland went 3-for-3 with two RBIs.

Logan Smith got the win in the circle and threw five innings. She allowed four hits, two earned runs, three walks and struck out five.

As a team, Fairview had 14 hits.
