EDGERTON — Edgerton’s Dominique Fort and Taylor Smith combined for 24 points, but Paulding picked up a 58-41 victory in a Green Meadows Conference girls basketball game on Thursday at Edgerton High School.

Fort had a team-high 14 points, while Smith added 10. Addie Cape tallied six points, Luisa Rudersdorf had five and Grace Schroeder knocked down all four of her free throws for the Bulldogs (1-11, 0-2 GMC).

Janae Pease drained four 3-pointers in her game-high 17-point outing for the Panthers (3-7, 1-1 GMC). Claire Schweller (12 points) and Audrey Giesige (11) also contributed.

Stryker beats Fayette

STRYKER — Stryker’s girls basketball team snapped a five-game losing streak with a 60-21 Buckeye Border Conference win over Fayette on Thursday at Stryker High School.

The Panthers improved to 6-5 (1-1 BBC), while the Eagles fell to 0-12 (0-2).
