DEFIANCE — Fairview’s girls basketball team outscored Defiance in every quarter during Saturday’s 60-26 nonleague victory at Defiance High School.
Kelly Crites scored a game-high 21 points for the Apaches (14-3). She also recorded five rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks.
Carrie Zeedyk contributed 13 points, four rebounds and three steals for Fairview. Alexis Taylor grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
Kinley Maynard scored a team-high nine points for Defiance (1-14).

MAUMEE — Hilltop’s girls basketball team cruised to a 65-29 nonconference win over Maumee Valley Country Day on Saturday at Maumee Valley Country Day High School.
The Cadets improved to 12-4.
