MONTPELIER — Montpelier’s girls basketball team has been in a dominant stretch dating back to the 2019-20 season.

The Locomotives, who finished 19-4 (7-0 Buckeye Border Conference) last season, have won at least a share of three straight conference titles. They shared the crown with Stryker and Edon in 2020 and won it outright the last two seasons with perfect conference records both times.
