HAVILAND — Madison Brown scored over half of North Central’s points, but it wasn’t enough as Wayne Trace won 29-26 in a nonconference girls basketball game on Monday at Wayne Trace High School.

Brown finished with a game-high 14 points for the Eagles (1-1). Lauren Balser (five points), Kendal Bonney (four) and Isabelle Burnett (three) completed North Central’s scoring.

Rachel Stoller dropped a team-high 12 points for the Raiders (1-0). Abby Moore also chipped in eight points, including two 3-pointers.
