WOODBURN, Ind. — Fairview’s Nathaniel Adkins tied the school record for birdies on Monday.

The senior got his 16th birdie of the season in the Apaches’ 176-209 victory over Hicksville in a boys golf match at Pond-A-River Golf Club in Woodburn, Indiana. Adkins shares the record with Mark Stevenson, who set the milestone in 2001.
