EDON — Edon couldn’t slow down Stryker’s bats, as the Panthers scored 11 runs on 14 hits to help pick up an 11-4 Buckeye Border Conference softball win on Thursday at Edon High School.

Sage Woolace doubled, singled twice, stole four bases, drove in three runs, scored three times and drew two walks in the leadoff spot for Stryker (3-6, 3-3 BBC). Emma Fulk (two runs, single), Caitlyn Lyons (single) and Gabrielle Ramon (double, single) each added two RBIs.

Taylore Rethmel (three runs) and Marissa Myers (single, run, two stolen bases) both added a double.

Rethmel also got the win in the circle. The freshman tossed a complete game and fired five strikeouts and allowed nine hits, four runs (all earned) and four walks.

Allison Kaylor smacked two hits and had two RBIs for the Bombers (3-9, 3-8 BBC). Grace Reitzel added two singles and an RBI, while Mallory Wofford singled twice.
