PUBLIC NOTICE JOINT SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT DISTRICT OF DEFIANCE, FULTON, PAULDING AND WILLIAMS COUNTY Public Hearing for the Draft Solid Waste Management Plan The Joint Solid Waste Management District of Defiance, Fulton, Paulding and Williams County (District) is scheduling a public hearing to be held Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Defiance County Engineer’s Conference Room, 500 Court Street, Suite E, Defiance, OH 43512 to obtain public comment on the draft solid waste management plan as required by Sections 3734.54 and 3734.55 of the Ohio Revised Code. The draft plan was available for public comment December 14, 2020 to January 13, 2021. The draft solid waste plan is an update to a previously approved solid waste plan and includes a solid waste facility inventory, projections and strategies, costs to finance the plan and District rules. The draft plan update is not raising or changing any fees. The draft plan is available for review at the locations listed below: Defiance County Commissioners 500 Court Street, Suite A, Defiance, OH 43512 Fulton County Commissioners 152 South Fulton Street, Suite 270, Wauseon, OH 43567 Paulding County Commissioners 112 S.
