Edon senior musicians rewarded

The Edon Music Department presented the 2019 High School Fine Arts Night Concert on May 17, featuring the high school band, jazz band and choir. Recognized at the event were senior musicians for their contributions to the music program. Senior percussionist Naomi Hickman, left, was presented the John Phillips Sousa Award and also received a $250 scholarship. The Arion Award was given to Faith Livensparger, right, a four-year member of both the band and choir. She sings alto and plays French horn. She also received a $500 scholarship.
