A Bryan man died in a crash Monday evening in Henry County.

At 6:27 p.m., the Henry County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a two-vehicle injury crash at U.S. 6 and County Road 24 in Ridgeville Township.

The crash occurred when a car operated by Kevin Keller, 62, of Defiance, failed to yield at a stop sign at U.S. 6 while northbound on County Road 24. Keller’s vehicle struck a vehicle heading eastbound on U.S. 6 on its passenger side.

The impacted vehicle’s three occupants were transported to Defiance Regional Medical Center for their injuries.

One passenger in the impacted vehicle, Michael Thomason, 40, of Bryan, died from his injuries while at the hospital.

The condition of the vehicle’s two other occupants, Amanda Carner, 38, of Bryan, and a female juvenile, were not noted in a press release from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash remains under investigation.

Assisting at the scene were Ridgeville Fire and Rescue, Archbold Rescue, Napoleon Rescue, Gunn’s Towing and Brett’s Towing.
