Parklet

Jared Johansen, of Bryan, left, enjoys a coffee on the new Bryan parklet in front of Kora’s, on the westside of courthouse square, while in the background, Julia Jarzembski accents the new parklet with a plant and flower arrangement.

Bryan has joined the growing list of communities that boast a parklet in its downtown.

The new public outdoor seating platform was just built in front of Kora’s, on the west side of courthouse square. The structure extends out from the sidewalk, taking up several parking spaces, and includes seating that is open to the public.
