Common pleas


Alec D. Beavers, 21, Defiance, pleaded guilty and was found guilty May 29 of attempted breaking and entering, a first-degree misdemeanor. Sentencing is set for 11:30 a.m. July 15.

Jacob M. Pannell, 21, Pioneer, pleaded guilty and was found guilty May 29 of assault, a fourth-degree felony. Sentencing is set for 11 a.m. July 15.

Jordan L. Hug, 24, Edon, pleaded guilty and was found guilty June 6 of having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony, and criminal damaging or endangering, a first-degree misdemeanor. Sentencing was set for 1 p.m. July 1. Results were not immediately available.

Sharvelle N. Burns, 26, Toledo, pleaded guilty and was found guilty June 6 of failure to appear, a fourth-degree felony, and vandalism, a fifth-degree felony. Sentencing was set for 9 a.m. July 8. Results were not immediately available.

Uriah Q. Michael, 31, Montpelier, pleaded guilty and was found guilty June 6 of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony. Sentencing was set for 9:30 a.m. July 8. Results were not immediately available.


Allen J. Smalley, 27, Defiance, was sentenced June 4 to 18 months incarceration for attempted burglary, a third-degree felony. He was also ordered to pay $530 restitution.

Foreclosure sought

US Bank Trust NA, Oklahoma City, has filed for foreclosure of the property at 1201 Bavarian Lane. Defendants are Cindy Sue Westfall, Bryan, et al. Amount owed was not immediately available.

Money judgment granted

Discover Bank, Hebron, Kentucky, was granted judgment against Tracey Hunt, Montpelier, for payment of $5,734.36, plus interest.

Accesslex Institute, West Chester, Pennsylvania, was granted judgment against Lori A. Hanna, Stryker, for payment of $10,388.47, plus interest.

Capital One Bank, Richmond, Virginia, was granted judgment against Annette G. Grimsley, Bryan, for payment of $8,352.14.
