Flag poles erected at Floral Grove in time for Memorial Day

The Village of Pioneer and American Legion Post 307 worked together to cover the costs of materials (Legion) and labor (village) to erect nine flag poles at Pioneer’s Floral Grove Cemetery in time for Memorial Day. Bookended by Ohio flags, the poles also host flags for each branch of the military, the POW flag and of course, Old Glory itself. Pictured are Pioneer Mayor Ed Kidston, left, with American Legion Post 307 Commander Bob Walkup.
