Mary E. Bates-Robinson

A Montpelier woman accused of stabbing her live-in boyfriend in the abdomen and hand was among 22 individuals indicted this week by a Williams County grand jury.

According to online court records, Mary E. Bates-Robinson, 43, is accused of committing the offense Feb. 5 at their residence at 409 W. Lawrence St.

She faces a second-degree felony charge of assault and a third-degree felony charge of domestic violence. Records show Bates-Robinson had previously been found guilty or convicted of domestic violence in 2012 and 2015.

At an initial court appearance Thursday, Williams County Common Pleas Court Judge JT Stelzer set her bond at $50,000 and scheduled her arraignment for 9:45 a.m. March 1.

According to a news release issued Thursday by the Williams County Prosecutor’s Office, others indicted this week include:

• Damien J. Pursel, 26, West Unity, on two counts of burglary, one second- and one third-degree felony, and four counts of third-degree felony grand theft.

• Joseph R. Moser, 34, Edgerton, on one count of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony.

• Antwon L. Jones, 37, Fort Wayne, Indiana, on one count each of having weapons while under disability and aggravated possession of drugs, both third-degree felonies.

• Brody A. Temple, 23, Paulding, and Dezarae N. Bender, 26, Bryan, both on one count each of theft from a person in a protected class, a fourth-degree felony, and theft, a fifth-degree felony.

• Elijah S.W. Utley, 38, Montpelier, on one count of harassment with a bodily substance, a third-degree felony.

• Jeffrey S. Deutsch, 33, Defiance, on one count of vandalism, a fifth-degree felony.

• Michael J. Koch, 39, Alvordton, on two counts of having weapons while under disability, both third-degree felonies.

• Heather A. Ruck, 28, Bryan, on one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony.

• Caysee J. Edinger, 24, Bryan, on one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony; three counts of aggravated possession of drugs, each a fifth-degree felony; and one count of having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony.

• Storm L. Roberts, 29, Deshler, on one count of illegal conveyance of prohibited items onto the grounds of a detention facility, a third-degree felony.

• Constance E. Roberts, 24, Montpelier, on one count of obstructing justice, a fifth-degree felony.

• Calvin L. Jones, 39, Fort Wayne, Indiana, on one count each of illegal conveyance of prohibited items onto the grounds of a detention facility, a third-degree felony, and aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

• Matthew J. Brown, 32, Clairsville, on one count of failure to appear, a fourth-degree felony.

• Crystal M. Conforti, 32, Bryan; Vanessa F. Rogers, 40, Bryan; Bradon J.M. Cousino, 26, Montpelier; Sarah E. Jackson, 40, Bryan; Braden R. Hahn, 22, Bryan; Sharon K. Grond, 56, Defiance; and Edmond L. Piper, 54, Stryker, all on one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
