Local law enforcement is searching for a man who allegedly pulled a gun on a truck driver Wednesday in the Edon area.

Around 12:39 p.m. Wednesday, a call was put out to local law enforcement to be on the lookout out for a “newer model” white Ford sedan with a specialty plate that featured either a badge or a heart. A license plate number was not given.

The individual being sought was identified only as a white male who was said to have pulled a gun on a truck driver before last being seen headed south on Ohio 49.

At 1:07 p.m. an officer indicated via radio a unit had “made contact” with the vehicle.

As of Wednesday evening, no arrest was reported and the vehicle in question was still being sought by the Williams County Sheriff’s Office.

Multiple requests for further information had not been returned by press time.
