HOLIDAY CITY — A single-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon resulted in one person being flown to Toledo for non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers responded to the scene of the accident, which was in the area of county roads M and 18, at 1:15 p.m.
Amanda Pinette, of Kunkle, was driving her Chevrolet Impala eastbound on County Road M when she traveled off the south side of the road, said Sgt. Pat Tusko of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
She struck a utility pole and her car flipped over, Tusko added.
“I don’t know why, I haven’t spoken to her,” he said at the scene. “No alcohol or anything is expected.”
Pinette was transported via a Life Flight helicopter to St. Vincent Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, Tusko said.
Pinette was the only passenger and Tusko was unsure if she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Life Flight, Williams County EMS, Williams County Sheriff’s Department, Millcreek-West Unity Fire Department, Madison Township-Kunkle Fire Department and Hutch’s Towing all responded to the scene.
