Pioneer police arrested a subject Tuesday following a high-speed chase out of Bryan.

According to a post on the Pioneer Police Dept. Facebook page, at about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, Bryan police reported they were pursuing a vehicle northbound on Ohio 15 after observing a traffic infraction.

When the chase came into Pioneer, a police lieutenant deployed Stinger Pursuit Stop equipment and brought the pursuit to an end near the police station on South State Street.

The driver, who was not identified in the Facebook post, was arrested without incident. Bryan police and the Williams County Sheriff’s Office were also involved in the incident. Charges are pending.
