Bryan police executed a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Walnut Street Sunday evening that ended in a foot pursuit.

Police stopped the vehicle in front of the Eagle’s Lodge at 9:24 p.m.

“It was a small chase,” Bryan Police Chief Chris Chapa said. “He was driving under suspension so he put the car in park and ran behind a house.”

Jonas Zuver, 37, of Montpelier, was arrested and charged with driving under suspension and failure to comply. He was later released on his own recognizance.
