Vehicle ignites after striking tree

A Bryan man sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries after reportedly falling asleep behind the wheel Wednesday morning on County Road F.75, east of Pulaski.

One person was injured in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday morning on County Road F.75 east of Pulaski.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that at 10:12 a.m. Brian Grazinai, of Bryan, was driving east when he fell asleep. His 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck traveled off the north side of the road, striking a utility pole, satellite dish and tree in front of the Boynton Sesquicentennial Farm.

“The vehicle was on fire when we arrived but the driver was already out of it,” Bryan Assistant Fire Chief Doug Pool said.

Grazinai was conscious and alert at the scene. He was transported by Williams County EMS to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
