Vehicle retrieved from creek, no serious injuries

Around 5:40 p.m. Thursday, a black 1995 Mustang GT driven by Seth Altaffer, 20, of Montpelier, and hydroplaned while traveling eastbound on US-20 A east of County Road 17.75 and ended up with his vehicle submerged in Beaver Creek. Altaffer sustained no serious injuries, but was transported from the scene via Williams County EMS. Ohio State Highway Patrol cited Altaffer with failure to control.
