At 6:02 a.m. Monday, police responded to a vehicle accident in the parking lot at Shaffer’s restaurant, 309 N. Main St. No injuries were reported.

At 1:45 a.m. Monday, police responded to a report of a suspicious person at the Bryan Inn, 924 E. High St.

At 8:57 a.m. Monday, police responded to a complaint of assault in the 500 block of North Main Street.

At 10:56 a.m. Monday, police responded to a complaint about a junk vehicle in the 600 block of South Main Street.

At 11:02 a.m. Monday, police responded to a compliant about a junk vehicle in the 1000 block of Colonial Lane.

At 11:53 a.m. Monday, police responded to a complaint of harassment in the 500 block of West Bryan Street.

At 6:32 p.m. Monday, an employee of Walmart, 1215 S. Main St., reported a shoplifter.

At 11:34 p.m. Monday, an employee of the West Bryan Main Stop, 1310 W. High St., reported a customer drove off without paying for fuel. Police found the customer and transported him back to the gas station to pay.

At 3:16 p.m. Monday, deputies assisted a driver with a disabled vehicle in the 13000 block of County Road 13, Montpelier.

At 4:17 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to a traffic hazard on Ohio 49, south of County Road K, Edon.

At 10:23 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to a complaint of telephone harassment in the 200 block of Brush Street, Kunkle.

At 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to a citizen assist request in the 100 block of East Jackson Street, West Unity.

At 4:44 a.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to a citizen assist request at Love’s Travel Stop, 14553 Ohio 49, Edon.

Arrest

At 7:12 a.m. Monday, Dustin J. O’Donnell, 30, of Norwalk, was arrested and charged with OVI, failure to control, resisting arrest, criminal damaging and a seat belt violation. He was taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.

Montpelier police

Arrest

At 2:17 a.m. Sunday, Ricky Williams, 47, of Montpelier, was arrested and charged with OVI and driving under suspension. He was released on his own recognizance.
