Children’s author and popular singer, Olivia Millerschin will be visiting two Williams County Public Library locations on Saturday, May 18. Olivia will first visit the Edon Branch Library at 10 a.m. and will then be at the Bryan Main Library, in the Carnegie Room, at 1 p.m.

Recently, Millerschin “unintentionally” wrote an upbeat song that turned into a children’s book. Her newest project, the hard-cover, 16-page book is called, “Cactus On A Ledge.”

The book tells the tale of a small, meek cactus who dreams of becoming a big, strong tree.

At the library events, Olivia will discuss how the book was born from an accidental song, read it to her audience, sing and play the song with her ukulele and sign copies.

The Edon Branch Library is located at 105 S. Michigan St., Edon. For more information on the Edon event, please call 419-272-2839.

The Bryan Main Library is at 107 E. High St., Bryan. To learn more about the Bryan program, call 419-636-6734, ext. 275.
