Jeffrey Devlin and Holden Cobb were named the Kiwanis Club of Bryan Students of the Month for October for their academic success and extracurricular activities. Both are seniors at Bryan High School.

• Cobb is the son of Robert and Rachel Cobb. He ranks ninth out of 170 seniors with a 3.9728 GPA. He has been involved in the Academic League team, band and he works at McDonald’s. He said his most memorable or fun high school memory “would be during the homecoming celebrations and seeing everyone get so excited and pumped up.”

Cobb said he plans to attend Trine University or the University of Toledo to study civil engineering.

• Devlin is the son of Jeff and Marcy Devlin. He is the valedictorian at BHS, ranking first out of 170 seniors with a 4.0 GPA. He has been involved in the theater program, the academic league team, the Esports team and his church youth group. He said his most memorable or fun high school memory “is when me and a bunch of other seniors camped outside the school at 4 a.m. to be the first in line to get tickets to the homecoming football game. It was a super enjoyable experience and a story I know I’m going to tell for a long time.”

Devlin said he plans to attend a four-year college and major in aerospace engineering.
