MONTPELIER — Prior to the Montpelier Women of the Moose chapter meeting, orientation was held for new and prospective chapter members with a video shown about Mooseheart, the “Child City,” funded by the Moose fraternity at Aurora, Illinois.

Regular chapter meetings are held the first and third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and all co-workers of the chapter are welcome to attend.

All members are assigned to a chapter development committee and encouraged to assist the chairman with fund-raising projects to benefit the Mooseheart, Moosehaven, the lodge and the community.

Special recognition is given to a different committee each month when the chairman and committee members are honored at the first monthly meeting.

Montpelier Chapter will host a (2-HOTT) training workshop on Saturday, June 22, focusing on duties of the recorder including required computer data entry and reports regarding membership and financial information.

Any member from any chapter is eligible to attend. Training session leaders will be Rey McKinney and Dori Howdieshell from Greenville. If interested in attending, contact Recorder Rey McKinney, ph: 419-737-3034.

The next regular chapter meeting will be Thursday, June 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the conference room at the lodge.
