DEFIANCE — There will be a March For Life in Defiance on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at noon at the Defiance County Courthouse.

Speakers for the event will be: Kathy Williams, who was adopted. She will speak on the bond between a mother and her unborn child.

Monica Kelsey, a retired firefighter and medic from Indiana, will speak on her mission regarding safe haven baby boxes.

Chris Roper from Hope & Faith Homes will speak on homes for pregnant moms who have no support.

State Representative Craig Reidel will address his experience in the passing of the heartbeat bill and adoption in his family.

St. Augustine Catholic School will also be giving a pro-life presentation.

There will be a Mass at Holy Cross at 9:30 a.m. with Exposition at 10:45 a.m., ending at 4:45 p.m. with benediction.
