The Bryan Main Library is very excited to start a new kind of book club that appeals to lovers of food and literature. Starting in September, the library will host the “Page & Plate Cookbook Club” once a month for adults.

“Page & Plate” will choose a cookbook that participants will then pick a recipe out of to make and bring to the monthly meeting for everyone to taste.

The club will then discuss what they thought of the cookbook, and if they are excited to try more recipes from the book.

If you are interested in participating in Page & Plate, pick up the cookbook of the month at the Bryan Library Adult Department desk.

Sign up for the recipe you would like to make, so no duplicate dishes will be brought to the meeting to be held on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

The cookbook to be discussed will be “Delish: Eat like Every Day’s the Weekend.”

Come on your lunch hour to talk about all things cooking, while enjoying delicious food and great company!

The Bryan Main Library is located at 107 E. High St. For more information, please call 833-633-READ, ext. 221.
