United Way of Williams County was the second quarter recipient from the Power in the Purse (PIP) Women’s Giving Circle. United Way was given $5,750 for its COVID-19 Economic Relief Fund. The relief fund was launched in March to help ensure individuals, children and families in need are supported during the pandemic, and 100% of donations will go directly to the organizations that are serving those in need. Pictured for the check presentation are, from left, Chasity Yoder, executive director of United Way of Williams County; and PIP members Shirley Fry, Dee Krill and Beth Reimund. Since 2016, PIP has given more than $107,000 to 18 different Williams County nonprofit organizations. To be a part of PIP contact Jody Freeman at the Bryan Area Foundation at 419-633-1156.
