On Aug. 6 at 11:30a.m. The Top of Ohio Red Hats gathered at the Grand Plaza on the square in Bryan. Linda Mseis, queen mother, welcomed all. She gave “An Irish Blessing” before the meal.

Hosting the event were Cynthia Wise and Robin Harris. Drawings were held and candy favors were at each place setting.

For the program, Cynthia Wise read from the book “When I am an Old Woman, I Shall Wear Purple,” edited by Sandra Martz.

The next Red Hat gathering will be on Sept. 11, at 11:30 a.m., in the Bard Room, Bryan Hospital. It will be hosted by Barb Hancock and Marilyn Scott. Chad Tinkle, CEO of hospital, will speak.
