Bryan’s golf team placed third out of 15 teams at the Patriot Invitational at Pike Run Golf Club in Ottawa on Monday.

The Bears finished with an overall team score of 336 and were led by Drew Dauber, who fired a round of 79. He was followed by teammates Case Hartman (81), Nolan Kidston (90), Clayton Rupp (86), Nathan Hess (93) and Colin Shirkey (109).

“Drew Dauber came up big for us on a day when Case or Nolan didn’t have their best game,” Bryan coach Tyler Bernath said in an email. “Drew has played some really good golf all year. He has had some really bad holes here and there that have really ran up his score, but he kept those off his scorecard today. I knew once he got rid of those high scores he would give us a good score.”
