Edon’s volleyball team beat Montpelier 18-25, 25-8, 25-13, 25-8 on Thursday in Montpelier.

The Bombers (2-4, 2-1 Buckeye Border Conference) were led by 19 kills and seven digs from Riley Bloir, 12 assists from Claire Radabaugh, seven assists from Zoe Maier, three kills, eight digs and seven aces from Carlie Kiess, seven kills from Brooklyn Morris, six kills and three blocks from Alea Brandt and eight digs from Emily Kissinger.

Leading the Locomotives (1-5, 1-3) were Chelsea McCord with six kills and two blocks and Keiylee Bentley with five kills.

Hilltop 3, North Central 2

Hilltop’s volleyball team improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the BBC with a 21-25, 25-15, 25-18, 27-29, 17-15 victory in West Unity on Thursday.

The Cadets were led by 10 kills, 23 digs and 19-of-20 serving from Kendall Roth, 15 kills, 12 digs and 19-20 serving from Morgan Norden, nine kills and five digs from Gabby Rodriguez, 18 assists each from Arleigh VanArsdalen and Kacy Connolly and eight kills and 25 digs from Taryn Grant.

North Central (3-1, 3-1 BBC) was led by 18 kills, five blocks and six digs from Kendal Bonney, seven kills and six blocks from Kendee Hollstein, seven kills, five digs, three aces and 20 assists from Madison Brown and 13 digs from Alexia Miller.

Fairview 3, Paulding 0

Fairview’s volleyball team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 25-11, 25-15, 25-20 victory on the road against Paulding on Thursday.

The Apaches were led by seven kills, two digs and three blocks from Madison Schoenauer, 29 assists, 25-of-25 serving and eight digs from Anna Ankney, eight kills, 16-of-16 serving and five digs from Paige Ricica and 10 kills, two aces, two blocks and 10 digs from Olivia Ricica.

Stryker 3, Fayette 0

Stryker’s volleyball team swept the visiting Fayette Eagles 25-13, 25-21, 25-15 in Stryker on Thursday.

The Panthers (2-5, 1-3 BBC) were led by eight kills from Kenzie Cadwell, five kills from Kalista Blevins, 11 assists from Kinsey Myers, 11 assists, five aces and seven digs from Haylee Fulk and 11 digs from Sage Woolace.
