GNOAC meet coming to Bryan

Bryan’s Emilee Bassett swims the breaststroke leg of the 200-meter medley relay at a swim meet against DAYS (Defiance-Ayersville) on June 25 at Moore Memorial Pool in Bryan. Bassett and the rest of the Bear-a-cudas are set to conclude their summer swim season at the Greater Northwest Ohio Aquatic Conference Swim Champs meet at Moore Memorial Pool in Bryan this Saturday and Sunday. Competition starts at 8:45 a.m. both days. The GNOAC was founded in 1971 and currently features six teams — Bryan, Napoleon, Defiance-Ayersville, Wauseon, Bowling Green and Ottawa. Bryan is coming off of a third-place finish at Swim Champs a season ago, where the Bear-a-cudas trailed first-place Bowling Green and second-place Napoleon. RYAN SQUANDA/Staff
