Case Hartman led the Bryan boys golf team to a comfortable 154-181 victory over Paulding at Auglaize Golf Club. The senior carded a one-under-par 35 to earn medalist honors, followed closely behind sophomore Nolan Kidston’s even-par 36. Rounding out the scoreboard for the Golden Bears were Drew Dauber (40), Clayton Rupp (43), Colin Shirkey (44) and Nathan Hess (45).

“It was good to get back on the course after not playing a match in over a week,” Bryan coach Tyler Bernath said. “Case and Nolan both had tremendous rounds. ... The team seemed to putt much better today, which has been a struggle for us all year.”

Kelson Egnor paced Paulding with a three-over-par 39.

Antwerp 162, Hilltop 216

The Antwerp boys golf team dominated Hilltop on Tuesday in a 54-stroke win at Pond-A-River Golf Course. Archers senior Jake Eaken earned medalist honors by firing a 35, followed by Austin Lichty (40), Eric Thornell (43), Jayvin Landers (44), Gaige McMichael (48) and Chase Friend (53).

Hilltop was led by Ethan Siebenaler’s 47. The Cadets rounded out the match with Kasin Deck (52), Dominik Schmitt (55), Elijah Kuszmaul (62), Kalab Gillespie (68) and Evan Felske (73).

Girls Golf

Montpelier 227, Hilltop N/A

Montpelier senior Sarah Higbie earned medalist honors with a 42, followed by Addi Thompson (48), Emily Fritsch (68), Halie Rose (69) and Jastin Edinger (79). The Locomotives won by default as only three Hilltop players posted final round scores: Avrie Reed (49), Ella Calvin (50) and Jamie Chester (54).

Fairview 215, Edgerton 259, Hicksville 266

Fairview coasted to a painless win in a three-team match over Edgerton and Hicksville on Tuesday. Eva Wermer medaled after shooting 50. Emily Singer (51) backed her up, followed by Lorelle Hetrick (57) and Andrea Macsay (57).
