Hilltop scored three first quarter touchdowns to jump out to an insurmountable lead over Stryker on Friday night. The Cadets 4-4 (3-2 TAAC) won 49-6 on the road.

Hilltop put up 368 yards of total offense, including 341 on the ground, on just 39 plays. Christian McKinney and Hayden Brown led the way with 174 and 148 yards on the ground, respectively. They combined for six touchdowns.

The Cadets held the Panthers to just 16 yards on offense, as well.

Hilltop hosts Cardinal Stritch next week, while

Stryker heads to Montpelier.

Fairview 48, Ayersville 0

Fairview was led by strong quarterback play en route to a strong win over Ayersville.

Cade Polter and Keenan Jackson combined for 249 yards and three touchdowns through the air. Caleb Frank was the leading wideout for them, putting up 144 yards and a touchdown.

Jackson added two touchdowns on the ground as well, as Fairview (5-3, 3-2 GMC) put up 392 yards of total offense.

Fairview held Ayersville (2-6, 0-5 GMC) to 93 yards of total offense, while allowing just six first downs.

Edon 20,

Cardinal Stritch 0

Edon used a ground attack to come out with a win over Cardinal Stritch. Edon scored three touchdowns, all rushing, as the Bombers rushed for 286 yards.

Garrett Rupp led the way for Edon (5-3, 2-0 BBC) with 214 yards on 24 attempts for all three three touchdowns. His last touchdown in the fourth quarter put Cardinal Stritch (4-4, 4-1 TAAC) away for good.

Thomas Foust led the way for the Cardinals on 12-of-23 passing for 96 yards and one interception. Paul Latz caught six of Foust’s passes for 40 yards total.
